The Glambot Guy Is Now Copping His Own ‘Rude’ Allegations Amid Spicy Resurfaced Emails

Cole Walliser, AKA the Glambot photographer you see at all those awards shows, has come under fire on social media after screenshots emerged of a supposed interaction he had with a potential client back in 2019.

It comes just days after Walliser made headlines when he defended Jennifer Lopez amid fan criticism over her “rudeness” while posing for the Glambot at this year’s Golden Globes.

But this time, it’s Walliser copping those same allegations.

The hullabaloo kicked off on social media when a user by the name of Yinka Animashaun shared an alleged screen recording of an email thread between herself and Walliser.

In the 2019 email exchange, Animashaun is seen inquiring about the use of Walliser’s Glambot for her wedding, prompting the photographer to question if it’s in her “price range” because the camera system is “not cheap”.

After Animashaun confirmed she could foot the bill, Walliser *allegedly* got spicy.

“I don’t see how you could be since I didn’t say how much it was and it could be between $10,000 to $1,000,000,” Walliser wrote. All that for a terrifyingly fast machine that might make you look like a fool?

After a back-and-forth over whether Animashaun could realistically afford the Glambot, Walliser finally confirmed the price of $300,000, prompting another terse reply.

“If you wanted to know how much it cost you just needed to ask, you don’t need to pretend you’re going to book it,” he replied.

Social media users didn’t take kindly to the interaction, with some labelling Walliser’s tone as “rude” or saying Animashaun was “owed an apology”.

“Damn why is good customer service becoming a lost art,” another user responded, while a fourth said “assuming someone’s ability to pay damages his reputation”.

Gasoline was poured on the fire when another X user shared a similar interaction they had with Walliser when also inquiring about a wedding. “There’s a reason the Glambot is only at the Oscars, the Grammys and the Golden Globes,” Walliser allegedly replied, followed by a bunch of money bag emojis.

As for why this is all coming to light now, Animashaun explained that she had seen Walliser’s J-Lo response video “circulating and wanted to remind [people]… of his treatment toward me”.

“I tweeted about it back when it happened and several times since! I will continue to mention it until I receive an apology,” she added.

Adding even more lore, Animashaun said she discussed using the Glambot with her wedding planner, who said she would consult with Walliser to lower the eye-watering price before she saw the emails.

“I was really into the machine for my guests and had more of a 30-50 [thousand] budget in mind that my groom was open to since it was my special day and he wanted to make me happy,” Animashaun wrote on X.

Walliser has yet to respond to the allegations, but part of me wishes there was some sort of machine that could capture his reaction in slow-mo and high definition. Actually, I think I know one!
