Clearly, the Gitmo decision offers more proof that Obama is a fraud and is unserious about change. I mean, he may not even announce his plans to close it until the second 24 hours he's in office. What a phony.
Seriously, this is a very good thing. I feel, to be perfectly honest about it, that there may well be some degree of risk in releasing some of these detainees. Those of us who don't read classified documents can't possibly know, and no one can predict the future.
But at the end of the day, the country has to live up to its purported ideals and do the best it can. Gitmo will live in infamy for a long, long time.
