The Girl Savage by Katherine Rundell - review

This book is about Wilhelmina Silver, or Will as she is known. She lives on a farm in Africa with her father, the horseboys and Captain Browne. All is well in her life until the death of her father. Cynthia thinks Will is a wild and unruly child and sends her to a posh English boarding school. Will can deal with packs of hyenas and lions but not angry schoolgirls...

I enjoyed this story because it made me laugh and cry. I would recommend this book for age 9-12, however older readers may read it and have different views.
