Rangers talisman Alfredo Morelos is benefitting from a new rule put in place by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, claims Charlie Adam.
The Colombian impressed against Livingston in Van Bronckhorst 's Premiership debut and found the net in the crucial Europa League clash with Sparta Prague.
Following a sluggish campaign during Steven Gerrard's tenure, Adam reckons the Dutchman has thrown down the gauntlet to the striker.
The former Ibrox playmaker believes a new rule is in place within the squad to immediately press for the ball.
Adam believes there was a noticeable change in Morelos' attitude from the final days of the Gerrard era.
The Dundee captain told BBC Sportsound: "He (Van Bronckhorst) will want to put his own stamp on the team, which I have seen in his first two games.
" Ryan Kent played really wide (against Livingston) at times. He had white chalk on his boots he got that wide against Devlin, because he got lots of space to run.
"It was more (Ianis) Hagi who came inside the park. I think at times Rangers will be a lot more expansive and play wider together.
"Hagi will play high and wide, and Kent to.
"I just see the different reaction from some players. Morelos when he lost the ball went to chase it and get it back.
"They hunted to get the ball back. That is probably something where the manager has laid down a rule; as soon as you lose it you have to get it back.
"The two games I have seen Rangers have been at it. Now everyone else has to chase them."
