Thanks for all your suggestions on last week's blog. Here are a few highlights from this week.
Reds v Blues
Chelsea and Manchester United have given us 14 goals and a lot of entertainment in the last week. Daniel Sturridge's first touch was the highlight. Perhaps he should learn from how Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and Santi Cazorla bring down the ball. If you play with Lionel Messi, you don't need to over-elaborate with your first touch. Sturridge's first touch wasn't the worst of the week. That prize goes to Luke Varney for this inexplicable miss for Leeds against Southampton.
In other football news, we have Juan Mata's free-kick from behind the ball and behind the goal. Here's Fernando Torres in the air and on the ground. And, amid the controversy at Stamford Bridge, this lovely dink from from Nani went largely unnoticed – as did the appearance of an unlikely crowd member.
Not for the faint hearted
A malleable face; sheer brutality; a long-range hit; Sandro's block; an acrobatic crunch and some light relief.
The many faces of Mick McCarthy
In addition to lothario Mick, we have celebratory Mick and spooked Mick.
Trick and treat with William Spencer and friends
It's Halloween, so here are a few tricky treats: a 270° tail-slide with a shove-it flip out, snowboarder Torstein Horgmo hitting the streets with a wall ride, Ethan Deiss front flipping off street rail and a surf trick that seems to defy captioning.
