While the beloved 28 Days Later franchise is known for its gritty storylines and ruthless gore, it appears that its blood, guts and glory has been overshined by a giant, infected schlong.

In 2025, horror fans have been treated to banger after banger. We’ve had Final Destination: Bloodlines, Sinners and now, 28 Years Later, the latest instalment to the 28 Days Later franchise.
For those who have yet to feast their eyes on the bloodbath, the movies — 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007) — follow the outbreak of the rage virus and how it turns humans into disgusting, hateful, quick AF zombies (or “infected”, if you’re one of *those* fans).
In 28 Years Later, we see how society changes decades after the initial rage outbreak, with a group of survivors living it up on an isolated island. However, when the group decides to venture into the mainland, shit hits the fan and it’s absolute carnage!
While many were there for the continuation of the 28 Years Days franchise, some admit they’ve been distracted by a giant infected penis.
You see, the massive schlong belongs to Samson — played by MMA-fighter-turned-actor Chi Lewis-Parry — who plays an Alpha infected.
The Alphas are, unfortunately, individuals who’ve been infected with a stronger variant of the rage virus. Unlike the normie infected, the Alphas are quicker, stronger and more brutal than the rest, and for Samson, he’s the top dawg of the Alphas!!
But with this giant peen swinging around each zombie infected chase, many people are asking… is it legit?

Speaking to Variety, Lewis-Parry confirmed the jaw-droppingly long appendage was a prosthetic, adding that this was due to laws protecting child actors.
“Yeah, they were prosthetics. There’s a law that states, I think, because he’s a child, you’re allowed to have nudity, but it has to be fake nudity,” the former MMA-fighter dished.
“It was to protect [Alfie Williams, who was 13 when filming 28 Years Later]. And, as well, I’m really friendly and am always hugging people. I wouldn’t have been doing that if I was fully in the nip!”
When asked if the prosthetic “was in proportion”, the actor referred to his stellar height.
“Well, I’m 6′ 8″. I’ll say no more!” he said.
