In the last two General Elections Plaid Cymru has been victorious with Hywel Williams in Arfon.
He is one of four Plaid Cymru MPs currently sitting in the Commons.
But, in the 2017 General Election he won by just 92 votes, beating the Labour candidate Mary Griffiths-Clarke.
At the Assembly Plaid's Sian Gwenllian holds the seat.
In the EU referendum Arfon vote to remain by 64%, according to estimates from the Commons Library.
It is a seat where the alliance pact has come into force.

"I’m 66, originally from Pwllheli and now living in Caernarfon. I have three grown-up children and Owain (six) and Enlli (three) from my marriage with the academic Dr Myfanwy Davies.
"A former social worker, social work educator at Bangor University and then a freelancer, I have been the Plaid Cymru MP for Caernarfon and then the new seat of Arfon since 2001.
"I have a deep sense of what is right and what is fair, arising from my traditional Welsh upbringing and my early experience as a social worker in the Rhymni Valley and in Gwynedd. If you’re elected and Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal is back in the Commons, how would you vote?
"We will never get a better EU deal than the one we have now, and I’ll oppose both Tory and Labour exit plans. We must get back to our proper work, so neglected during this Brexit mess."
What is the biggest issue you think Wales is facing and what will you do about it?
"Working for Welsh economic success, ending poverty and homelessness, and improving health and other public services."
