The GC gets a sequinned swimming pool in ultimate garden makeover

Gemma Collins, 40, is best known for her appearance on The Only Way Is Essex, where viewers got to know her vivacious personality and affinity for all things sparkly.

Recently she's outdone herself, however, with a garden renovation that screams GC - literally.

In line with her ongoing transformation, Gemma has revamped her swimming pool in a dazzling display, with sequins spelling out the initials 'GC' in silver against a turquoise background.

The reality TV star showed off the bedazzled pool on her instagram, thanking Solaair Sequin Walls for the unique decor and sharing that she ‘can’t get to Mykonos with work commitments so I’m bring[ing] it to me’.

The spangled walls of the pool are part of a recent transformation of GC's £13 million mansion, dubbed 'Costa del Collins'.

The star called in a team of top designers and construction workers to make her vision come to life.

The garden of her 'forever home' has recently received additions such as a brand new modern summer house, adorned with decorative features, comfy sun loungers and drinks tables, and a rose archery painted black to match her classy colour scheme.

She shared the whole transformation with her 2.2 million Instagram followers, giving guided tours on her story.

Gemma rose to fame when she featured on The Only Way is Essex from 2011 to 2019, prior to which she was a car saleswoman in her hometown of Romford, Essex.

Since her eight-year stint on the show, the star has featured on I'm a Celeb, Celebrity Big Brother, Celebs Go Dating and Dancing on Ice, and now features on ITVBe reality series Diva Forever.

Now, the star has her eye on her next project as she announced that she'd love to have her own gardening show to teach fellow millennials about the joys of gardening.

She said: “I desperately want a gardening show. I know you all love me for the reality, but actually youngsters need to know the power of gardening and how much it can bring to your life.

“I’ve been very busy in the garden and I can’t wait to get to the Chelsea Gardening Show.

"Who knows? I could have my own patch there one day with my own fabulous magical garden.”
