These were the great scenes outside The Gate Theatre on Tuesday night as a performance continued outdoors after the building was evacuated.
The production of PIAF by Pam Gems was disrupted by a false alarm which resulted in the theatre being evacuated for a short amount of time. And instead of letting the interruption spoil the show, the cast put on a wholesome performance for the streets of Dublin.
A clip posted to Twitter by Jo Mangan shows a delightful sing-song happening outside The Gate Theatre, which seemed to be thoroughly enjoyed by both the cast and patrons.

In a statement released after the evacuation, The Gate Theatre said: "During the interval for our current production of PIAF by Pam Gems there was a false alarm which resulted in the building being evacuated for a short amount of time.
"Thankfully everyone was safe but while they waited for further instruction the cast continued performing for our audience outside. It created a wonderful warm atmosphere even though the it was cold outside. The cast thought it was a really special experience!"
