The Gary Neville Celtic prediction that still haunts Manchester United team-mate's Parkhead nightmares

While the other 60,000 covered their eyes, Louis Saha had the misfortune of staring straight at the coolest man inside Celtic Park.

Artur Boruc's late penalty save understandably plays second fiddle to the legendary Shunsuke Nakamura free-kick that put Manchester United to the sword in 2006.

But had Boruc not swotted away the Frenchman's spot-kick to preserve three precious Champions League points then that iconic goal's significance would have been diluted.

In truth, Saha never looked like scoring, a fact of which Gary Neville was so convinced he blurted it out in the next day's newspapers.

Strangely, it's his team-mate's admission of a complete lack of faith that haunts Saha more than Boruc's dramatic act of defiance.

He told FourFourTwo: "The worst memory about it is that my own team-mate, Gary Neville, actually predicted I'd miss the penalty!

"He said that to someone, then I read it in a newspaper - I was fuming!

"But with Gary, we argued a lot, so no change there.

"It's about how you react, and the following weekend I scored against Chelsea , one of the best goals I scored in my career."

And there was even a congratulatory word for Boruc, 13 year on.

Saha added: "Of course, I have to credit Celtic 's goalkeeper for the penalty.

"It was a good save!"
