Everything is set for Gareth Bale to play his 'best football' at Tottenham, according to the superstar's Wales teammate Andy King.
Bale secured a dream return to Spurs on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid during the summer after seven years away.
And after a difficult time at Real in the last year or so, fans should prepare to see the best of Bale again, according to Wales teammate King.
"We’ve seen playing with Wales and playing with him for a number of years that he plays his best football when he is happy off the pitch, the same with everyone really," the former Leicester City midfielder told Sky Sports.
"I think him coming back to Tottenham, he’s said himself about it feeling like he’s moved back home.
"I’m sure at Tottenham everyone knows they’re getting a world-class player and I’m sure if everything is right for him off the pitch – like it should be now – he will play his best football on it.
"That’s great for the Premier League, great for Totteham and great for Wales as well, because we want Bale match fit and coming into camps playing a lot of games and ready for the summer.
"We have got a massive tournament in the summer and you want him going into that on the back of a full season of football rather than a bit of a stop-start season."
Bale is yet to make his second Spurs debut having spent time recovering from injury, but he could be available very soon having returned to full training.
