The Future of Power Still Means Fossil Fuels, for Now

(Bloomberg Businessweek) -- Countries are responding to the twin pressures of climate change and rising electricity demand by accelerating renewable power development—but many aren’t abandoning fossil fuels. China will add about 129,000 megawatts of energy capacity next year; 43,000MW of that will be solar, and 33,000MW will be coal. —With Nathaniel Bullard
