The full list of businesses and individuals nominated for top Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Awards

Dozens of firms and business leaders are vying for top awards at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards 2019, set to take place next month.

The categories recognise businesses and individuals who are "driving forward the responsible business agenda" across the Liverpool City Region, and the ceremony will be held at Anfield Stadium next month.

The six categories, supported by headline sponsors Turkish Airlines, are Responsible Employer of the Year, Workplace Health and Wellbeing, Equality and Diversity, Exporter of the Year, Digital and Technology, and Local Hero.

Nominees range from firms including Merseyrail and Walton Flooring Centre for the Responsible Employer award, and livestock feed specialists Tithebarn Ltd and waste incinerator experts Inciner8 hoping to be named the Exporter of the Year.

Paul Cherpeau, chief executive of Liverpool Chamber, said: “This year's Liverpool Chamber Awards celebrates those businesses, large and small, who are delivering dynamic and sustainable economic growth across the Liverpool city region.

"Many of our local businesses continue to achieve great success across a wide range of areas, strengthening both their competitive advantage, profitability and sustainability. "
