The Welsh Government has "strongly advised" everyone to take a lateral flow test before going out Christmas shopping, to parties, or visiting others.
The latest three-week review by the Welsh Government has now taken place, with no major changes being introduced.
However, those visiting restaurants and pubs in Wales are being asked to wear masks when not eating or drinking. Wearing a face covering indoors remains the law for most places including in cinemas and theatres.

The government has also advised people to take a lateral flow test before going out to visit others, go Christmas shopping, attend a Christmas party, or visiting a crowded place before travelling.
If individuals test positive after taking a lateral flow test, they should stay home, arrange for a PCR test, and self-isolate. The new rules will come into force from Sunday.

The latest Welsh Covid review will not see any major changes to regulations, with the country remaining at alert level zero.
Under alert level zero, the Welsh Government says that businesses, employers and other organisations must continue to undertake a specific coronavirus risk assessment and take reasonable measures to minimise exposure to, and the spread of, the virus.
Everyone must continue to self-isolate for 10 days if they test positive for coronavirus and, if you are a close contact of someone who has tested positive and you are aged 18 or over and not fully vaccinated, you must also self-isolate for 10 days.
First Minister Mark Drakeford appealed to people to take a booster jab if they are offered one.
The NHS in Wales is expanding the booster programme to all adults, with a target to offer everyone a booster by the end of January.
While there had been some concern that Covid passes could be extended to pubs and restaurants, this is not happening as part of Friday's review of restrictions. Currently, under the rules you'll need to show a Covid Pass to go to the cinema or theatre.
Under Covid Pass rules you need to show proof you are either fully vaccinated, or have had a negative Covid test in the last 48 hours before you can go to nightclubs, indoor non-seated events for more than 500 people, outdoor non-seated events for more than 4,000 people and any event with more than 10,000 people.
Meanwhile, guidance advising people to work from home if possible remains in place.
Nine cases of the Omicron variant have been found in Wales so far, and officals are preparing for cases to rise "quickly and sharply."
The next review is due to take place on Friday, December 31, however, Mr Drakeford said that the "the situation continues to worry officials."
