The Friends cookbook is coming - anyone for trifle à la Rachel Green?

Get your maternity - I mean, Thanksgiving - pants ready. The Friends cookbook, based on everyone’s favorite ‘90s sitcom, is coming this autumn.

But if you can’t wait for its September 22 release date, you’re in luck.

The book’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, has shared a few familiar recipes that you can start whipping up now in preparation for the now-delayed Friends reunion special.

Friends: The Official Cookbook was first announced earlier this spring, and the author and chef, Amanda Yee, promises over 70 recipes covering the show’s most iconic culinary moments.

Recipes like Joey’s meatball sub from “The One With The Ride Along” and Ross’ infamous “Moist Maker” sandwich from “The One With Ross’ Sandwich” have already been confirmed and released a little early.

And it’s a pretty safe bet that some variation on Chandler and Rachel’s beloved Mama’s Little Bakery cheesecake and the Thanksgiving yams that Will (aka Brad Pitt) couldn’t resist will also be included - at least we hope.

Also on the list of early releases is Phoebe Buffay’s grandmother’s secret cookie recipe - which, yes, did turn out to be the chocolate chip cookie recipe on the back of the Nestlé Toll House chocolate chip bag.

But Monica did not go through all of those cookie experiments trying to recreate the recipe from taste for nothing. And to make it up to her, Friends: The Official Cookbook, has included one of her trial recipes instead of the Nestlé Toll House cookie (let’s just hope it’s not the batch 16 recipe that made Ross sick).

From full Thanksgiving feasts to Friday's “Joey Special” of two pizzas, we couldn't be any more excited about the Friends: The Official Cookbook.
