The free agents Swansea City and Cardiff City could sign for nothing right now

Cardiff City boss Steve Morison and Swansea City head coach Russell Martin must be delighted the transfer window is now shut.

Months of speculation and constant phone calls with agents and players will have surely taken its toll, with Martin revealing he "hates" the window and all that comes with it.

He managed to keep hold of his two star players on deadline day in Joel Piroe and Michael Obafemi, in what he described as the club's best business of the summer.

Morison, on the other hand, oversaw a massive squad rebuild at Cardiff City Stadium, with 17 new players arriving across the course of a hectic off-season. If both managers were being greedy, they would no doubt like to have strengthened a bit more in one or two positions, especially Martin, whose squad remains a little light.

There are free agents still lurking about who are unattached, and our colleagues in the Midlands have rounded up a few names who could still sign for any club for free right now.
