The four wonderkids who could save Chelsea millions this summer as Kai Havertz hints are spotted

Here is all the news from around Stamford Bridge over the past 24 hours.

Havertz hints in cup final lineup

Frank Lampard will have a number of selection issues on his plate when he sits down to decide on who starts for Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday.

The legendary midfielder goes for his first piece of silverware as a manager in the FA Cup final, but before a ball is even kicked, he faces some difficult decisions.

There’s the obvious choice to make between Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud, not to mention how Christian Pulisic and Willian will be utilised.

And Lampard’s selection this weekend could well provide a big hint as to his plans for next season, including how he might look to fit in Kai Havertz.

The wonderkids who could save Blues millions

It looks set to be a very busy summer for Chelsea in the transfer market as Lampard builds a squad that could well challenge Liverpool and Manchester City for the title next season.

The Blues have of course already done some business with the additions of Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner, and Kai Havertz continues to be heavily linked.

But while plenty of new faces are expected, it mustn’t be forgotten some of the players Chelsea already have in their ranks.

Lampard told what to do with Kepa

Much of the speculation this summer surrounds what will happen with Kepa Arrizabalaga, with uncertainty surrounding his future.

The 25-year-old has struggled following his world-record move back in 2018, and speculation is rife he could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge, with Jan Oblak seen as a potential replacement.

Legendary Valencia goalkeeper Santiago Canizares though has told the Blues they must keep the under-fire Kepa.

“It's a disagreement that I do not understand because I believe that it is really convenient that both the club and the keeper work in the same direction and I hope that the problem will be solved soon,” Canizares said.
