The four teams chasing the signing of Arsenal ace Eddie Nketiah after Leeds loan cut short

There is a four way battle for Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah as he looks set to complete another temporary switch from the Emirates Stadium, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claim that three Championship and one Premier League club are all looking to take the England youth international on loan for the rest of the season.

Aston Villa, Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest are all battling for the 20-year-old, with the Arsenal men set to make a decision 'in the next 24 hours'.

Nketiah spent the first half of the season on loan with Championship high flyers Leeds United, but found his game time at Ellend Road limited, starting just two games for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Mikel Arteta: We switched off for the goal

The Arsenal striker made a total of 19 appearances in all competitions for Leeds, scoring five goals.

As reported by football.london, Nketiah has been in discussions with Bristol City, Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest. But Aston Villa are on the lookout for a striker to help them in their battle against Premier League relegation.

Speaking ahead of the Crystal Palace match, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta outlined the factors that could drive Nketiah's decision.

"I always suggest when you go on loan, you speak to the manager and make sure he really wants you," he said when discussing how the club will decide where to send the pair," he said.

"He has to tell you exactly what he’s expecting from you. If he convinces you that it’s the right move for you, you have to go and prove yourself.

"So I’m not too concerned whether it’s Premier League or Championship, it’s more the overall fit and the communication between the clubs that is clear what we are trying for that player to develop. We want the player to be comfortable and that he can see the path is the right one."
