The new boss will have numerous squad dilemmas upon which to ponder, with four of his players entering the final year of their contract in the new season.
Liam Kelly
Kelly joined Rangers on a free transfer from Motherwell last year. He has proved to be a bit-part player in his first full term at Ibrox, competing with Jack Butland for the number one jersey.
As things stand, he will be out of contract next summer.
James Tavernier
The right-back joined Rangers from Wigan a decade ago. He has since made over 500 appearances for the club, winning all three major domestic trophies in Scotland.
He last put pen to paper in 2022 on a deal that runs until the summer of 2026.
John Souttar
The 28-year-old made 40 Rangers appearances last season, the second-most he has ever managed in a single campaign throughout his career.
He signed a four-year deal at Ibrox in the summer of 2022, which expires this time next year.
Bailey Rice
Rice made his way into the Rangers first team towards the end of last campaign, starting against the likes of Athletic Club and St Mirren.
It remains to be seen whether the club will look to tie down the 18-year-old, whose current contract expires next summer.
