A club-record £11 million signing has explained why he joined Celtic.
Kasper Hogh, formerly of Bodo/Glimt, became Celtic's new No.9 after seeking advice from former player Stefan Johansen. The Dane said Johansen's glowing recommendation of the club helped him decide to make the switch.
Johansen, who played more than 100 matches for Celtic and won the PFA Scotland Player of the Year in 2014-15, is now a youth coach at Bodø/Glimt. Hogh said: "I spoke to some guys who have played here or against Celtic and asked about the club and the atmosphere.
"Stefan Johansen is a youth coach at Bodø, and he said it was an amazing club. When I found out there was interest, I went to speak to him and some others.

Hogh believes Johansen's endorsement and his own positive feeling about the club made the decision straightforward once the record fee was agreed.
He has already scored in the Champions League.
Johansen lifted league and League Cup titles under Ronny Deila and secured the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award in 2014-15.
