Larges areas of Greater Manchester remain under 'flood alert' warnings tonight after days of heavy rainfall.
The Environment Agency has issued urgent advice to the public as a result.
In Salford tonight, there were reports of cars being 'abandoned' close to the waste tip on Lumns Lane in Agecroft due to flooding.
The area around the road was said to be 'gridlocked' as a result.
Images from the scene show at least four cars trapped in floodwater.

There have been no reports of any injuries - with flooding also being reported on other local roads across Greater Manchester.
According to traffic reports, Stannybrook Road in Daisy Nook is closed in both directions due to flooding between Newmarket Road and Ashton Road.
Tanner's Lane in Golbourne, Wigan, is also closed in both directions because of flooding between Nook Lane and the library.
As rain continues to fall, the Environment Agency said people should avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
Motorists should not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.

Four areas of Greater Manchester under flood alert warnings are mapped out by the Environment Agency - an area west of Wigan, northern Bury and Rossendale, Salford and central Manchester and a large area around Sale in Trafford.
Incident response staff are said to be closely monitoring the areas affected.
One flood alert is in place for the lower River Irwell catchment area, including the Rivers Irk and Medlock, Wince and Worsley Brooks and their tributaries.
The upper River Irwell catchment area alert spans Oldham, Bolton, Rochdale, Haslingden, Ramsbotton and Rawtenstall.
"Flooding is possible at low lying land and roads around the rivers Beal, Roch and Croal, Limy Water and their tributaries," it states.
A flood alert has also been issued for the middle River Mersey catchment area and covers Bramhall, Stockport, Sale, Altrincham and Urmston.

"The middle River Mersey catchment includes Micker, Cringle, Sinderland and Poynton Brooks and their tributaries.
"Other locations which may be affected are Stretford, Gatley, Cheadle Hulme and Cheadle," said the alert.
And close to Wigan, an alert has been issued for the upper River Douglas area.
"River levels remain high on the River Douglas due to heavy rainfall.
"Areas most at risk include the River Douglas from Horwich Star Vale to Appley Bridge including Adlington, Blackrod, Wigan, Standish, and Gathurst. Some further rainfall is forecast overnight.
"We are clearing debris from weed screens in the area."
Flood alerts mean flooding 'is possible' and residents and businesses in the areas concerned should 'be prepared'.
The Environment Agency said: "Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
"Our incident response staff are closely monitoring the situation."
Nationally, 57 flood alerts remain in place, and five higher levels of flood warnings.
Train services have also been cancelled between Bolton and Preston due to flooding on the railway - with another issue reported on Monday night affecting trains on the Stalybridge line.
