The Flash in Glasgow: Video of shoot shows Batman's amazing Batcycle up-close

The talk of the steamie here in Glasgow has been of course the appearance of Batman on the city streets amid filming for the new blockbuster movie The Flash.

It has seen crowds flock to the city centre to try and get a glimpse of the Caped Crusader as Hollywood production crews shoot what seems to be a huge chase scene involving Batman that is winding its way through some familiar streets.

Staff at the itison offices have had arguably the best seats in the house as filming continued on Cochrane Street and John Street in the vicinity of the City Chambers today, with the deals and events site sharing some cracking videos on their social media pages.

One such video shows Batman giving chase to an armoured Humvee vehicle on his Batcycle along John Street before the stuntman - believed to be the stunt double for Ben Affleck's Batman - finishes the scene and returns to John Street.

As crew members given him a helping hand to reverse the Batcycle back into position, the video offers us a spectacular close-up glimpse of his ride of choice for the movie.

Comic book fans note that the Batcycle bears a striking resemblance to the one featured in the pages of the Batman: White Knight comic run from 2017 and 2018.

And it's fair to say it looks pretty badass - especially on the streets of Glasgow!
