The Flash Glasgow: Action scene sees speeding Humvee career right across George Square

Filming continues on the Glasgow streets for blockbuster movie The Flash, as the city once again plays host to a huge Hollywood production in the wake of the Indiana Jones film shoot.

The cameras have been rolling in and around George Square, with Batman spotted belting it by Greggs towards St Vincent Place in pursuit of an armoured Humvee alongside three Gotham City police cars as part of a dramatic high-octane chase scene.

One lucky bystander was also able to catch another scene being filmed, showing the Humvee drive right across George Square from next to the City Chambers and smashing through a marketplace that had been set up for filming, as people scamper from its path.

While people watching the filming near to Glasgow Queen Street station yesterday afternoon were lucky enough to capture Batman giving chase to the Humvee on his Batcycle amid pyrotechnics that replicated gunfire.
