The five-word Cardiff City tweet from Swansea City hero Lee Trundle that has ruffled a few feathers

He may be from Liverpool, but Lee Trundle just gets Swansea City fans.

Ever since he pitched up in South Wales and stole Swans supporters' hearts, he has been revered in these parts.

His latest tweet will have boosted his reputation no end, too.

Cardiff City's 3-2 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday saw the Bluebirds relegated from the Premier League, setting up a tantalising South Wales derby next season.

And the player they call Magic Daps took the opportunity to rub a bit of salt into Cardiff wounds.

Tongue firmly in cheek, he tweeted: "Right where do I start x" - complete with five crying with laughter emojis.

It isn't the first time Trunds has aimed a playful dig at Swansea's bitter rivals and we doubt it will be the last.

Obviously, his message was greeted with glee from the Swansea faithful.

But Cardiff fans weren't so impressed by the tweet, with some refusing to bite. 

The Swansea-Cardiff rivalry will be back next season and Trunds clearly can't wait for it.
