Chelsea's youth set-up is among the best in Europe and it seems that they're starting to reap the rewards.
The nominations for the European Golden Boy have been revealed with the Blues having five of their young stars named as contenders for the award.
Those players are Ethan Ampadu, Marc Guehi, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Mason Mount and Dujon Sterling.
The prize, which is distributed by Italian newspaper, Tuttosport, rewards the most impressive player aged under the age of 21 to be playing in a European top tier in each calendar year.
Ampadu was part of the Chelsea first team last term, and after breaking into the international set-up with Wales he's expected to kick on with more first team football.
Guehi is another who is tipped for big things after coming through the ranks with both Chelsea and England, while Callum Hudson-Odoi is something of a household name.
The winger burst onto the scene at Stamford Bridge last term, and with Eden Hazard now out of the picture it's likely that the youngster will play a much bigger role under Frank Lampard.
Mason Mount will also be part of Lampard's squad after enjoying a very successful season on loan at Derby County last term.
He's tipped for big things and a season in and around the Blues' first team could be hugely beneficial as he acclimatizes to life in the Premier League.
As for Dujon Sterling, the 18-year-old enjoyed a season on loan with Coventry City last term, and will be hoping that another season of regular first team football will see him improve even further.
