Tottenham fans are gearing up for the start of the Jose Mourinho era in N17.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United manager replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the helm at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday morning.
Pochettino had been sacked on Tuesday night following a run of just three wins in 12 Premier League games to start this season.
And chairman Daniel Levy and Spurs did not waste time in getting a new man in, with Mourinho announced just 11 hours later.
Speaking after his appointment, Mourinho said: "I am excited to be joining a club with such a great heritage and such passionate supporters.
"The quality in both the squad and the academy excites me. Working with these players is what has attracted me."
Mourinho is at the club's training ground and will be meeting the players this morning ahead of his first training session with them on Wednesday afternoon.
There are reports that Mourinho was at Hotspur Way last night thrashing out a deal to become Spurs boss on a three-and-a-half year contract, with Sky Sports reporting that the Portuguese stayed at the training ground overnight.
