The first pictures from Wales' Six Nations camp as Rhys Webb, Taulupe Faletau, Louis Rees-Zammit and others link up

Wales have assembled at their Vale Resort training base today as they begin preparations for the 2020 Six Nations Championship.

Wayne Pivac named five uncapped players in his squad for the tournament as his decisions caught many off guard.

Louis Rees-Zammit, WillGriff John, Nick Tompkins, Will Rowlands all arrived in camp for the first time today as they began settling in with less than two weeks before the Italian opener.

Johnny McNicholl, who featured in an uncapped match against the Barbarians last year, was also in attendance.

More familiar faces were welcomed back into the fold following the Rugby World Cup - the likes of Rhys Webb, Taulupe Faletau and Rob Evans all returned to familiar territory.

Players who are based outside of Wales are permitted to be in camp for the first three days of this week before returning to their respective clubs.

Those players will then rejoin the fold next Monday.

Pivac will have access to all his Wales-based players from now until the end of the Championship.
