'The first of many' - Arsenal fans in agreement after what Charlie Patino did against Sunderland

Arsenal have booked their place in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup with an emphatic 5-1 win over Sunderland at the Emirates.

The Gunners were in rampant form against their League One opponents and a hat-trick from Eddie Nketiah, and a goal apiece from Nicolas Pepe and Charlie Patino booked their place in the last four of the competition.

Patino scored on his debut for the club with a tap in after Pepe picked him out with a simple pass to seal a fantastic victory for Arsenal.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been tipped to follow in fellow Hale End graduates Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe's footsteps by establishing himself in Mikel Arteta's side.

Gunners fans were certainly excited to see the youngster get his name on the scoresheet, here's how a selection of them reacted on social media.
