The First Descendant revealed its next collaboration to be with the Evangelion anime series. It includes outfits for Bunny, Valby, and Gley, designed after the series’ iconic characters.
Announced on June 12, The First Descendant x Evangelion collaboration features three bodysuit/plugsuit skins coming to the game on June 18. There’s Asuka’s outfit for Bunny, Rei’s outfit for Valby, and Mari’s outfit for Gley.
Apart from the Descendant outfits, the collaboration also appears to include three Ultimate weapon skins. While the exact details are yet to be confirmed, there seems to be a skin for EXCAVA to match Asuka’s suit, a Greg’s Reversed Fate skin to match Rei’s, and a Deus Ex Manus skin to match Mari’s.
This is The First Descendant‘s third collaboration, following NieR: Automata and Bayonetta collabs in 2025. All previous collaboration items were time-limited, lasting around two months, so it’s likely the Evangelion cosmetics will follow the same format. Previous collaboration items have also never been made available again after leaving the shop. Keep that in mind if you’re looking to grab any of the new skins.
The First Descendant x Evangelion arrives with the June update, which also features this year’s summer skin collection. Although the summer skins release a bit later, on July 2, it should still be a packed update if you’re looking to get a new outfit for your favorite Descendant.
In terms of gameplay, the June update includes a monthly balance pass on Bunny (right in time for the collaboration), adjustments to ERASER and Albion Cavalry Gun, and the first update to the Onslaught game mode.
