The first all-Muslim panto is coming to London

Five members of the same family are starring in the world’s first all-Muslim panto, which will tour from the end of November.

Stopping off in London from December 14-16, If The Shoe Fits is a blend of different fairytales including Cinderella and Jack and the Beanstalk, as well as other family favourites such as Dora the Explorer.

As well as starring, family theatre company Once Upon a Family write and direct the production. Joining them are the cast of YouTube comedy series The Corner Shop, Michael Truong, Mistah Islah and Inayat, and Citizen Khan star Abdullah Afzal.

The show will be raising money for Muslim humanitarian charity Penny Appeal’s Winter Emergency, which provides assistance to vulnerable people over the colder months.

If The Shoe Fits is at the Chelsea Academy on December 14, The Old Town Hall in Stratford on December 15 and One Park Crescent in Regent’s Park on December 16.
