THE FINALS season seven midseason update kicked off a new limited-time event, Super Cashball, that brings a familiar sense of competition into the Arena. Alongside the new event, there are new cosmetics and a batch of balancing changes.
On July 24, THE FINALS launched Super Cashball, a ball game that takes place on the dedicated map, Cashball Stadium. Playing Super Cashball is somewhat similar to basketball. Grab the ball from the center of the Arena, pass it between teammates, and score into the opposing goal. Passing the ball between teammates also charges the ball, making it worth more points when scored.
The game mode offers a new feel of sport and teamwork that you can’t really find in other modes (except for when you pass the Cash Box between each other in World Tour): there’s a short halftime to reset the Arena, last-minute scores, penalty zones around goals, and even overtimes.
You can still fight and eliminate other players, but the loadouts are curated for each build and are focused on melee combat. Lights get to run with Evasive Dash, armed with the Dagger. Mediums are more focused on escorting the ball with the Winch Claw, Riot Shield, and Zipline. And Heavies can be dedicated defenders/goalkeepers with the Sledgehammer and Lockbolt.
As you play the event, you can earn tickets for the Super Cashball Wheel to earn exclusive rewards. This wheel has been present in previous THE FINALS events, like the Valentine’s Day event, and collecting all rewards grants the Zone Enforcer outfit.
