The final hateful tweets that got Katie Hopkins permanently banned from Twitter

Right wing, controversial commentator Katie Hopkins has been permanently banned from Twitter.

Ms Hopkins - who amassed more than one million followers on the social media platform - had her account frozen for a week back in January, following a campaign by Countdown's Rachel Riley.

But this time round Twitter has said that Ms Hopkins ban is permanent.

In recent days the former LBC presenter slammed Manchester United player Marcus Rashford on his recent free school meals campaign, the Mirror reports.

"Dear Marcus Rashford, do you think women should think about how they are going to feed a child before they decide to have it?

"I do not want to pay to feed other people’s kids. You are welcome to. Thank you, Katie Hopkins," she tweeted.

Then on Wednesday, she wrote another controversial post that appeared to be mocking the Black Lives movement.

"Today is #whiteoutwednesday. I will shortly be posting a picture of my a***. Thank you," Ms Hopkins wrote.

On Katie Hopkins' ban, a Twitter spokesperson says: "Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us - abuse and hateful conduct have no place on our service and we will continue to take action when our rules are broken.

"In this case, the account has been permanently suspended for violations of our Hateful Conduct policy."
