The figures that highlight the terrific support Leeds United have had at Elland Road this season

There's no denying that Leeds United have enjoyed superb support this season.

The Whites have sold out every home match at Elland Road this season (to home fans, not taking into account away allocations).

And those passionate supporters have helped spur on Marcelo Bielsa's side to the top of the Championship.

Before the halt to action because of the coronavirus outbreak, Leeds had recorded five consecutive victories.

The Whites ' average attendance for league games this season has been 35,321.

That is by far the biggest in the division.

In fact, it is almost 8,000 higher than the side sitting in second place - Nottingham Forest.

The City Ground has seen an average of 27,723 fans pour through the turnstiles.

In third place in the table is Derby County (26,727), with West Brom (24,053) and Sheffield Wednesday (23,733) fourth and fifth respectively.

Meanwhile, in terms of what the capacity percentage of Elland Road has been this season, after eight games this season the figure was a 92.8 per cent.

Now, after 18 games, it has risen to 93.2 per cent.

However, Leeds remain second in that particular table after Luton Town. The struggling Hatters' modest Kenilworth Road stadium has a capacity percentage this season of a whopping 97 per cent.

Forest, with 91.05 per cent, are third.

Below, we take a look break down the attendances for all 18 games this season at Elland Road, starting with the highest.
