The cheapest house to sell in Greater Manchester in March was a Rochdale terrace, with a huge drop in property sales recorded across the board.
According to the Land Registry, the number of home sales registered in March was barely a third of the number registered in February.
Government advice to delay moving home if possible means that many sales due for completion will have been stopped in their tracks.
Of the 216 sales registered in Greater Manchester (down from 720 in February), the most expensive sold for £1.2 million.
On the other end of the scale is a flurry of terraced properties sold for between £39,999 and £72,000.
