Rock statesman Tim Finn (Split Enz, Crowded House) and the late Australian poet Dorothy Porter began working on a rock concert album in 1995. Now Tim Finn will be joined by performer Abi Tucker to present the songs about love, sex and obsession.
Porter’s previously unpublished lyrics deal with the twists and turns of desire. She wrote libretti for chamber operas and two of her verse novels were nominated for the Miles Franklin prize. Directed by Anne-Louise Sarks, The Fiery Maze unites the work of these artists who understand the intimate power of language.
