It’s great to get together with friends and family over Christmas.
The turkey, the fizz, the pulling of crackers.
But once the Queen’s Speech is over, the last of the mince pies is served and dinner guests have wandered home, there’s nothing better than sticking your on your pyjamas and settling down for a night infront of the box.
Christmas telly is a guilty pleasure for us all – from the annual festive soap dramas to a good movie.
And, while we may all love festive classics such as A Christmas Carol and It’s A Wonderful Life not to mention the likes of The Wizard of Oz which used to be a staple of the big day, we do tend to long for a gift of something new.
And this year, TV bosses have come up trumps with some Christmas crackers reports Chronicle Live,.
Among the films already announced in the schedules is the new Paddington 2 which will be showing on BBC.
Other highlights include Toy Tory 3 on Christmas Eve on the Beeb, and Shrek the Halls on ITV on Christmas Day.
