The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - review

Beautiful, just beautiful. Completely different to Paper Towns, with more dialogue but with just as much humour as before. A stunning storyline, a novel full of surprises, fantastic characters and a sad ending: what more could I want.

It tells the story of Hazel, who is suffering from cancer and knows that she is going to die soon. Knowing she has no life left, she spends her days reading her favourite novel, An Imperial Affliction, and refuses to leave the house except to attend a cancer support group. There she meets Isaac, who has become blind, and Augustus, who has lost his leg to cancer, and begins to live her life again.

It is fantastically narrated and is a book guaranteed to bring tears to the eyes. Moving and magnificent full of love, hope and tragedy!

Also I loved the characters so much that Augustus has become my second best fictional character of all time!

I will definitely be looking out for more John Green!
