The father of NFL draft prospect Wyatt Davis played Alvin Mack in ‘The Program’

There are a lot of famous dads whose sons are likely going to hear their names called in the 2021 NFL draft.

There are former NFLers Joe Horn, Patrick Surtain and Asante Samuel. Then, there’s the rapper Warren G.

And in this case, we’ve got the dad of Wyatt Davis, the guard from Ohio State who could go sometime in the next couple of days.

His father is Duane Davis. If that name isn’t familiar to you, what about Alvin Mack? That’s the character he played in The Program, the 1993 football flick about fictional Eastern State University. If you’re a fan of that movie, you know who Duane Davis is.

Fun fact: he also played Jerry Johnson in Little Big League:

And he played Buster Douglas in a Mike Tyson HBO movie.

It’s also worth mentioning Wyatt’s grandfather happens to be Willie Davis, a Pro Football Hall of Famer who won Super Bowl titles with the Green Bay Packers.

So, yes, quite a talented family!
