Keeping up with Ms Lohan’s police record is nigh on impossible, but happily her wardrobe is easier to keep tabs on. Normally she rigorously works the Maid Marian-meets-Playboy look to exhaustion but last week’s courtroom look provided a happy wardrobe departure. It’s still a good 12 days until the airing of the second series of The Killing but jumper lust part deux is already ramping up. Knitwear nerds should know that season two features another Gudrun & Gudrun sustainable beauty, this time a shade of ripened tomato. Faithful sartorial homages aren’t for everyone, but it’s an inescapable fact that getting the Lund look is far superior to getting your wardrobe inspiration from TOWIE.

The key differentiator between the fashion interpretation of a posh slipper and the classified ad version is the heel. The slice of gold heel (never rubber!) says discreetly stylish rather than daytime TV fan. There are some really fancy versions kicking around the high street but the Zara version is the perfect price for a fashion shoe that is, to be frank, rubbish in the rain.
