Look of the week Despite a longstanding crush that harks back to the early days of Prime Suspect, Dame Helen Mirren has not previously graced this slot. But make no mistake: the woman is a fox of the highest order. This ensemble, worn to the Chelsea Flower Show, is spot on. Big-brimmed hats are so of the -moment – very French Vogue. Ditto rucksacks. Ballet flats in black are a timeless staple and that watch is a classic. Her hair is a natural and classy hue of silvery blond, cut into a flattering shape. Set to fly It is something of an under­statement to say that Erdem Moralioglu is having a major moment. Next season’s collection was such a triumph of colour, print and modern shapes that The Briefing almost forgot to breathe. Now there’s a 10-piece capsule collection for Liberty. Two classic floral fabrics have been given the designer’s own treatment and will be splashed on signature-style dresses or ­separates, such as this skirt. Best thing of all?
