Watching old episodes of Sex and the City never ceases to remind us of things we didn’t know we needed. Example: Charlotte wears a checked eyemask, and suddenly we want one. We love a good coffee table, but we like it best when there is an impressive stack of hardbacks on it. This Louis Vuitton volume looks at the brand’s relationship with artists, architects and designers, including Zaha Hadid, David LaChapelle and Annie Leibovitz. There are essays in it, too. Typed on very posh paper. Fabulous.

They’re shiny. They’re from Clarks (so they’re bound to be proper comfy). And they cost less than £50.
