The Fall actress Bronagh Waugh has announced the birth of her baby son who was born three weeks ago.
The Northern Irish woman shared the news with fans in an Instagram post on Wednesday morning, May 26, revealing that she became a mum for the first time on May 5.
Bronagh, who is also well-known for portraying the role of Cheryl Brady in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, captioned the post: "3 weeks of Heaven with my wee man, my little #cinquodemayo Baby. Mind blown. Heart bursting.
"I’ve never known tiredness like it but my God is it worth it! Completely and utterly in love."
She also added hashtags including 'bless the NHS', 'can't believe I'm a mummy' and 'gratitude'.
Many famous faces have began congratulating Bronagh for her bundle of joy, including Derry Girls' own, Louisa Harland who plays Orla McCool. She posted a heart emoji and said: "We are sending you so much love."
The Coleraine woman announced her pregnancy on International Women's Day back in March and said: "Over Lockdown I’ve been busy preparing for my next role (spoiler alert: it’s pretty major - I’m going to be a Ma!)
"Women’s bodies are incredible with what they can do and what they withstand. Absolute miracle machines and strong as an ox!"
