The Fall Guy X Reviews: Audience hail Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt's action-comedy as 'WILD' and immensely enjoyable ride

Summer is here, and Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt are turning up the heat with their action-comedy, 'The Fall Guy'.

The film released on Friday, opened to a lukewarm reception in India, but had greater success in the US and other international markets. Directed by David Leitch, the film serves as a tribute to stunt performers while offering a humorous take on the movie industry.

Gosling portrays a seasoned stuntman tasked with locating a missing movie star (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) to assist Blunt's character in completing her directorial debut.

'The Fall Guy' aims to redefine the significance of stunt work in Hollywood, and going by early fan reactions, that's just what the makers achieved.

In a series of tweets, those who caught early screenings of the film on Thursday and Friday, took to their X handles to Tweet, "#TheFallGuy perfectly marries a love letter to the stunt community and the romance world. I genuinely can't believe this movie exists. Emily Blunt is EVERYTHING. Ryan Gosling is better than ever. The whole cast, really. Go out and see it."

Another fan tweeted, "Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosling are the comedic duo we didn’t know we needed."

Still another hailed the movie as, "top to bottom, Fan-f**king-tastic. It’s not just a celebration of stunt performers, but a love letter to the entire film industry! If you have ever worked a day on a movie or TV set, you will absolutely love this movie."

"What. A. Movie. #TheFallGuy really is the fun-loving, carefree, action-stuffed blockbuster we need in our lives right now. With charm & chemistry for days, Gosling & Blunt are a dream pairing for what is a wild, silly, immensely enjoyable ride," said another.

Directed by David Leitch, "The Fall Guy" follows Gosling's character, an ex-stuntman lured back into the industry to work on a colossal studio production helmed by his former flame, portrayed by Blunt.
