‘Upskirting’ is a form of harassment where someone takes a non-consensual photo of a person’s intimate area. While it’s illegal in countries like the U.K., it isn’t in the U.S. However, needless to say, it’s unacceptable behavior. When TikTok user Charm Daze (@cgetsnakey) was targeted by an upskirter—who took a photo of her bending down in Costco—she took swift action.
The woman chased the man down the aisles of the warehouse club. As dramatic music played in the background, a man is seen running away from the cameraholder, with on-screen text reading: “Feeling like a lioness hunting my prey after I caught this man taking photos of me bending down in a Costco.”
Viewers supported her
In the comments, users oscillated between being supportive and cracking jokes about the ordeal.
“Seize him!” one wrote.
“He ran everywhere and nowhere all at the same time,” another remarked. While a third joked, “Legend has it he’s still running around that Costco.”
A fourth commenter observed that “not a single ‘man’ tried to help,” while a fifth simply commanded, “[Expletive] him up sis.”
While a sixth asked, “Wait, why is this the second video of creeps at Costco I’ve seen today?? What is happening?”
However, a number of commenters also questioned the validity of the video. Several of them questioned why the woman wasn’t “yelling” or getting other people’s attention. “Why were you not yelling out at what he just did?” one asked. “I’m sure the multiple shoppers you passed would have blocked him.”
Another remarked, “This is so fake,” to which Charm Daze replied, “The police report I filed isn’t.”

Are creeps populating Costco?
Unfortunately, other TikTokers have had similar encounters with unsavory men in Costco. One TikTok user named Bree (@breestahura) shared how a man was following her around the store recording her behind, as she lamented to viewers, “Here’s another reason being a woman is hard.”
Another shared footage of herself in the store after a man allegedly whistled at her before following her and making derogatory comments. “I am nervously laughing and also trying not to scare my kids,” she said via the on-screen caption.
