The FaceApp age challenge is giving us a glimpse into the future as celebs share their twilight pictures

Ever wondered what some of today’s stars will look like when they’ve reached their twilight years?

Thanks to the wonders of FaceApp – which is currently enjoying a resurgence – we can see for ourselves.

Using the app, footballer David Beckham, 44, magically ages into Hollywood veteran Harrison Ford, while TV host Amanda Holden , 48, bears a striking resemblance to Joanna Lumley.

The app also reveals that 43-year-old Ant McPartlin is set to morph into David Jason, while best friend Declan Donnelly could be mistaken for Michael Douglas.

And perhaps this is what Poldark’s Aidan Turner, 36, will look like the next time the BBC brings the show back?

Russian-developed FaceApp first launched in 2017 and does a great job of making even the youngest look far beyond their years using a special filter.

Two years on and the app is experiencing a resurgence, with social media feeds littered with images of our favourite stars and neighbourhood chums covered in wrinkles.

Our newest Duchess Meghan Markle has also received the FaceApp treatment, although she appears to age far more gracefully than other famous faces who gave the viral stunt a spin.

Simon Cowell ’s future face appears to be creased and blotchy, with the music mogul’s already thin lips looking thinner and his dark hair turned silvery white.

Kate Moss doesn’t fare particularly well, with the supermodel likely to look less than glam in her old age.

England’s cricketing hero Ben Stokes also gets the OAP treatment on the app, resulting in a very slim Father Christmas-like pensioner.

However, in a stroke of luck for some of our stars, actress Eleanor Tomlinson looks almost exactly the same, proving that the years will be kinder to some.
