The eye-watering amount Everton earned in the Premier League this season

Everton's prize money for the 2018/19 Premier League season has been confirmed.

The Blues finished eighth place in the league during Marco Silva 's first campaign at Goodison Park, narrowly missing out on Europa League qualification.

But that didn't stop the Toffees from collecting the most money outside of the top flight's top six with Everton being awarded a staggering £128,603,905 after Premier League released official figures for the payments made to clubs during the campaign.

Just under half of the Blues' league fixtures were broadcast live in the UK with 18 of Everton's matches over the course of the season being televised - a total bettered by only the top six and Newcastle United, who featured on TV on one additional occasion.

Everton's total payment is made up of their equal share of £34.36million, their equal share of the international television rights (£43.18m) and central commercial income (£4.97m) which are all handed to every club.

The remainder of their total consisted of their £21.15m facility fee, which depends on the amount of times broadcast live, while their merit payment for finishing eighth was £24.94m.

Seventh-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers took home an overall total of £127.16m, while bottom-placed Huddersfield Town still earned £96.63m.
