The explosive Celtic Park rammy as Mikael Lustig’s shirt is ripped to shreds

Mikel Lustig lay on the deck with his shirt ripped to shreds as Celtic Park erupted.

With a smile inching across the Swede’s face, it provided a comedic interlude to a crazy day.

Because seconds after Bobby Madden had blown his final whistle, Celtic and Rangers players were involved in a furious rammy that followed the Hoops’ dramatic late win.

Andy Halliday was furious with Scott Brown’s celebrations in front of the away fans and remonstrated with the Celtic skipper.

The Rangers full-back received a second yellow card for his actions and now faces a ban.

It has been reported Brown was given a second booking – but Record Sport Online believes this is not the case.

The midfielder was at the centre of two other flashpoints during a manic match.

Brown was the victim of an Alfredo Morelos lash-out – that saw the Colombian sent off – as well as being struck by Ryan Kent.

But the biggest melee came at full-time. Halliday was raging with Brown as rival players came together in full view of the TV cameras.

Lustig, who was also booked, had his top ripped during the barney while Rangers reserve keeper Wes Foderingham was also cautioned.

The BBC have reported Foderingham and a steward were decked as well amid the rammy.

Meanwhile, six fans have been arrested.
