'The exciting thing is there is more to come' - Verdict on Nottingham Forest's draw against Preston and start to the season

Albert Adomah came off the bench to rescue a point for Nottingham Forest as they drew 1-1 with Preston North End at the City Ground on Saturday.

Billy Bodin's second goal of the season in the 40th minute was just reward for a fine first half from the visitors.

But just two minutes after his 77th minute introduction, Adomah got his third goal of the season for Forest, who were much better after the break.

Preston struck first five minutes before the interval when Bodin's shot was brilliantly blocked by Joe Worrall.

Alan Browne's scuffed follow up landed at the feet of Bodin, who made no mistake with his second attempt.

The equaliser came when Carvalho played a superb through ball into Adomah, who tucked home his third goal in his past four appearances beyond the advancing Declan Rudd.

After the City Ground had emptied out, Sarah Clapson gave her verdict on the game and the start to the season.
