The Excel World Championship is an actual thing and it’s actually wild

The answer to your question is, YES: there are actual Excel World Championships.

We’re not just talking about, like, an event played by the contestants among themselves. No, this is streamed, with commentators and everything.

Now, I’m going to fully admit to you that I don’t quite know what’s going on (some journalists are REALLY good at Excel. I am not!). But it looks intense and sounds really intense and well, you’ve just got to watch some highlights.
