The items that you may have lying around your house that can make you some cash on eBay

This year, Mancunians have been on a mission to sort out their homes.

And for many, de-cluttering each room in the house is right at the top of the to-do list.

But while sorting out the miscellaneous items that have accumulated over the years can be a long and boring task to take on - if you're lucky, you might just be in for a financial reward.

According to thinkmoney, 19 everyday household items likely to be found during a de-clutter could lead to a tidy sum of up to £1,530 if they were all successfully sold on eBay.

The research conducted was based on the average sold price of each of the 19 items found on the popular e-commerce website.

Technology tops the list with an 1980 Apple Macintosh computer worth up to £330 online.

And for those who have kept all their mobile phones over the years - if you have an iPhone 1st Generation and a Nokia 3310, you could pocket £170.

But it's not just phones and computers bringing in the big money.

An old typewriter could be worth £150, a vintage turntable could be sold for parts for £219 and a Harry Potter 1st edition (print) could fetch you an easy £65.
